Q: What is the removal procedure for the power steering pump (4.3,5.0 and 5.7L engines)?
A:
You need to remove the power steering pump pulley, place a drain pan below, disconnect the power steering pressure hose, the power steering return hose, and the reservoir outlet hose, cap the ends of the hose and the pump, remove the power steering pump mounting bolts and the nut, the accessory mounting bracket mounting bolts and nuts, pull the accessory bracket forward, and remove the power steering pump.

Q: What is the disassembly procedure for the power steering pump flow control valve-off vehicle?
A:
You need to drain the oil from the reservoir, remove the connector and fitting assembly and the control valve assembly from the pump housing, and remove and discard the O-ring seal from the connector and fitting assembly.
