Q: What is the removal procedure for the thermostat?
A:
You need to remove the air cleaner and the duct assembly, partially drain the coolant, remove the coolant recovery reservoir, disconnect the radiator hose from the thermostat housing, remove the bolts attaching the thermostat housing to the thermostat, the thermostat housing, and the thermostat, and clean the gasket mating surfaces.
