In addition, most bores should look damp and some lubricant may drip out from under the boot as a result of lubricant being present.

A:
You need to install the pin into the park brake lever, raise and suitably support the vehicle, remove the tire and the wheel assembly, the rear brake drum and the rear brake shoes, disconnect the brake pipe from the rear brake cylinder, and remove the rear brake cylinder retaining bolts and the rear brake cylinder.

A:
You need to drain the power steering fluid, remove the brake master cylinder, disconnect the hose to the power steering fluid reservoir, disconnect the inlet hose and the outlet hose, remove the power Brake Booster pushrod, the retaining nuts, the power brake booster, and the power brake booster gasket.
Q: What is the removal procedure for the master cylinder?

You need to apply the parking brake and block the wheels, disconnect the brake pipes from the Brake Master Cylinder, plug the open brake pipe ends, remove the master cylinder mounting nuts and the master cylinder, and drain the master cylinder reservoir of all brake fluid.

The procedure is to ensure that the brake master cylinder reservoir is full to the maximum-fill level, loosen and separate the front brake pipe, allow a small amount of brake fluid to gravity bleed, reconnect the brake pipe to the master cylinder port, depress the brake pedal fully and maintain steady pressure on the pedal, loosen the same brake pipe to purge air, tighten the brake pipe, release the brake pedal, loosen and separate the rear brake pipe, and ensure that both of the brake pipe-to-master cylinder fittings are properly tightened after completing the final master cylinder port bleeding procedure.
