Q: What should we do if the plastic wheel nut covers are missing and/or loosen?
A:
You should apply a single bead across the threads approximately 10 mm (0.4 in) in length, 5 mm in height, and 5 mm in width, replace any missing plastic wheel nut covers with the appropriate covers, apply Permatex(R) Form A Gasket Sealant(R) to the threads of all the plastic wheel nut covers, and tighten finger tight plus a 1/4 turn with a hand wrench.
