Q: How to remove the accelerator controls cable?
A:
You need to remove the left closeout/insulator panel, remove the accelerator control cable from the accelerator pedal lever, next squeeze the accelerator cable cover tangs and push the accelerator cable through the bulkhead, then remove the accelerator control cable from the retaining clip and the right slot on top of washer bottle, remove the accelerator cable from the Throttle Body lever and the accelerator control cable bracket.
Q: How to remove the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor?
A:
You need to turn OFF the ignition, remove the fuel injector sight shield, disconnect the MAP Sensor electrical connector, remove the MAP sensor, and lastly pull the MAP sensor straight out of the PCV valve cover.

A:
You need to remove the upper Intake Manifold and the thermostat housing, disconnect the electrical connector from the ECT, then remove the drive belt tensioner, the EGR valve outlet pipe, the lower intake manifold bolts, and the lower intake manifold, and clean and inspect the lower intake manifold finally.
