01/11/2022Q: How to install the vacuum brake booster?
A:
You need to install the brake booster mounting gasket to the booster, the brake booster, and the brake pedal assembly to booster stud mounting nuts, raise the steering column, install it into position, apply a small amount of lubricant, GM P/N 12346293 or equivalent to the clevis pin of the brake pedal, connect the brake booster pushrod to the brake pedal clevis pin, then install the foam spacer and the retainer clip, install the left closeout panel, the washer solvent reservoir, the master cylinder to the booster, reposition and connect the vacuum check valve, then connect the electrical connector to the fluid level sensor, and connect the electrical connector to the EGR valve.
