You can remove the right engine strut mount bracket, thermostat bypass pipe, PCV valve, valve rocker arm cover bolts, valve rocker arm cover, and gasket, then clean the valve rocker arm cover and the valve rocker arm cover sealing surfaces.

01/11/2022Q: What's the proper way to install the right valve rocker arm cover?
A:
The proper way is to install the valve rocker arm cover gasket into the valve rocker arm cover, apply sealer GM P/N 12345739 or the equivalent to the notches where the cylinder head and intake manifold meet, install valve rocker arm cover and the valve rocker arm cover bolts, install the vacuum hose to the grommet in the engine right side valve rocker arm cover, install the ignition coil bracket with coils and the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve.
