Q: What is the proper way to install the LH inflatable restraint side impact module?
A:
You should install the driver-side airbag to the seat while guiding the airbag wiring harness through the trim cup, install the airbag fasteners, pull the airbag wiring harness down into the seat cushion while guiding the harness through the wire triangle of the seat frame, then install the harness retaining clips to the seat frame, install the seat back cover, and connect the J-clip that is along the lower rear seat back, install the driver seat, and enable the SIR system.

Q: What is the proper way to install the inflatable restraint front-end sensor?
A:
You should remove any dirt, grease, and other contaminants from the mounting surface, connect the sensor harness connector to the sensor, install the orange CPA into the yellow sensor harness connector, position the sensor on the upper radiator core support, and point the arrow on the sensor toward the front of the vehicle, install the sensor bolts, secure the fascia to the radiator support, install the retainers that hold the upper front bumper fascia to the radiator support, install the grille, finally enable the SIR system.

Q: How to remove the inflatable restraint front-end sensor?
A:
You need to disable the SIR system, remove the grille, remove the retainers that hold the upper front bumper fascia to the radiator support, pull the fascia from the radiator support to gain access to the sensor bolts, then remove the orange connector position assurance (CPA) from the yellow sensor harness connector, disconnect the harness connector from the sensor, remove the sensor bolts, remove the sensor from the upper radiator core support.
