You should remove the driver-side I/P closeout/Insulator panel, remove the flasher module (2) off the I/P carrier, and then disconnect the electrical connector.

Q: How to install the hazard and turn signal flasher?
A:
You should connect the electrical connector to the flasher module, slide the flasher module retaining clip onto the I/P carrier, and then install the driver-side I/P closeout/Insulator panel.
