Athreaded design is used with the E-85 5.3L (VIN Z-RPO L59) engine. A 1/4 turn design is used with all other gas engines. The 1/4 turn design has a shorter tether strap and will not allow the customer to drape the Fuel Cap over the hook on the filler door.
Q: What should be noticed when removing the fuel injectors?

You should use care in removing the Fuel Injectors to prevent damage to the fuel injector electrical connector pins or the fuel injector nozzles, and you should not immerse the fuel injector in any type of cleaner.
