You need to lubricate the Oil Filter seal with clean engine oil, install the oil filter and the oil drain plug to the engine block, lower the vehicle, fill the crankcase, remove the oil level indicator, wipe the indicator, install the oil level indicator, remove the oil level indicator, and close the hood.
Q: What should be noticed when installing an oil pan?
A:
The rear bolt-hole locations of the Oil Pan provide mounting points for the transmission bell housing. To ensure the rigidity of the powertrain and correct transmission alignment, the rear of the block and the rear of the oil pan must NEVER protrude beyond the engine block and transmission bell housing plane.
