Q: What is the removal procedure for the oil pump, pump screen, and deflector?
A:
You need to remove the oil pan, the engine front cover, the oil pump screen bolt, and nuts, the oil pump screen with O-ring seal and the O-ring seal from the pump screen, discard the O-ring seal, and remove the remaining crankshaft oil deflector nuts, the crankshaft oil deflector, the oil pump bolts, and the oil pump, clean and inspect the oil pump.
