2004 Cadillac Escalade EXT Parking Sensors

The spring keys must be on the top and bottom of the housing.

You need to disconnect the electrical connectors to the rear object sensor, lift the locking tabs on the housing and remove the rear object sensor, and insert a small-size screwdriver to release the tabs to remove the spring, from the inside of the housing and push in the tabs and remove and remove the bezel by pushing it through the fascia.

Do not refinish previously painted sensors. excess paint build-up will cause the sensor to be inoperative.

You need to lift the left rear seat cushion, remove the cover retainers, remove the container assembly from underneath the seat and remove the cover, disconnect the electrical connector from the rear object alarm module, release the tabs retaining the module to the container, and remove the module from the container.

You need to install the module to the container, connect the electrical connector to the module, install the container cover and lock in place, slide the container under the rear seat, install the container retainers, and set the rear seat to its original position.
