Q: What is the removal procedure for the steering knuckle (coil spring suspension)?
A:
You need to raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel, support the lower control arm, remove the wheel hub and bearing, disconnect the Electronic Suspension Control (ESC) link rod from the sensor, disconnect the outer tie rod from the knuckle, remove the brake hose bracket retaining bolt from the knuckle, the retaining nut and separate the upper and the lower ball joint, and the steering knuckle.

Q: What is the removal procedure for steering knuckles (Torsion Bar Suspension)?
A:
You need to raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel, support the control arm, disconnect the ESC link rod from the sensor, unload the torsion bars, remove the wheel hub and bearing assembly, the outer tie rod, the brake hose bracket and the upper control arm retaining nut, separate the upper ball joint, remove the lower ball joint retaining nut, separate the lower ball joint and remove the steering knuckle.
