Q: What is the removal procedure for the engine coolant thermostat housing (LY7)?
A:
The procedure is to disconnect the heater hoses from the heater core, remove the thermostat, remove the thermostat housing bolts, remove the thermostat housing with the heater pipes, hoses and bolts and clean the sealing surfaces with a plastic gasket scraper.
