You can insert the new EVAP canister filter into the EVAP canister, snap the EVAP canister filter cover to the EVAP canister and install the EVAP canister.

Q: How do you replace the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister filter?
A:
You can remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister, pry the EVAP canister filter cover from the EVAP canister, remove the EVAP canister filter from the EVAP canister and clean the inside of the EVAP canister filter housing with a clean shop towel.
