2004 Cadillac XLR Seat Cushion Pad

The installation procedure is to install the cover onto the pad, engage the hook and the loop, install the insert to the seat back, install the fir tree retainers at the bottom of the insert, install the insert to the ventilation duct at the top and engage the insert.

You can remove the seat, the seat back inserts, the seat speaker grilles, the seat speakers, the J-hooks that secure the seat back cover to the bottom of the seat back, the fir tree retainers that secure the seat back cover to the seat back frame, the SIAB side inflatable restraint module, and remove the seat back trim cover from the seat, remove the cushion pad from the seat back.

You can remove the insert at the seat back, disengage the insert from the ventilation duct, remove the lower fir tree retainers at the bottom of the insert, remove the insert from the seat, open the insert cover hook and the loop flaps, then remove the cover from the pad.

You can remove the seat, remove the seat belt buckle and pre-tensioner from the seat frame, remove the driver seat finish panel, the driver seat rear panel bracket, and the retaining clips which secure the cushion cover to the seat frame, then remove the cover from the seat.

The installation procedure is to install the seat back cover, the seat trim cover over the seat back working the cover down and over the foam, the SIAB side inflatable restraint module, the fir tree retainers that secure the seat back cover to the seat back frame, the J-hooks that secure the seat back cover to the bottom of the seat back, the seat speakers, the seat speaker grilles, the seat back insert, then install the seat to the vehicle.
