You need to disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient air temperature sensor that is located on the right front radiator air baffle and remove the push-in retainer from the ambient air temperature sensor and the ambient air temperature sensor from the radiator air baffle.

You need to install the IAT sensor and connect the IAT sensor electrical connector.

Q: How do you install the Ambient Air Temperature Sensor?
A:
You need to align the ambient air temperature sensor to the radiator air baffle, install the push-in retainer to the ambient air temperature sensor, connect the electrical connector to the ambient air temperature sensor and drive the vehicle at a speed of 32 km/h (20 mph) for approximately one and a half minutes or at a speed of 72 km/h (45 mph) for approximately one minute to obtain the ambient update.

Q: How do you remove the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor?
A:
You need to disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor electrical connector, carefully grasp the sensor with a twisting and pulling motion, and remove the IAT sensor from the air cleaner intake duct.
