You need to install the lubricated, new piston seal into the caliper bore, the caliper piston into the caliper bore, press the piston to the bottom of the bore, install the new piston dust boot seal over the piston, use J 35777 to fully seat the caliper piston seal into the counterbore and install the bleeder valve and cap to the caliper and tighten the valve securely and the front brake caliper to the vehicle.

A:
You need to install the lubricated, new piston seal into the caliper bore, apply a thin coat of Delco Supreme II, GM P/N 12377967 (Canadian P/N 992667), or equivalent DOT-3 brake fluid from a clean, sealed brake fluid container onto the outer surface area of the caliper piston, install the bottom half of the caliper piston into the caliper bore and the new piston dust boot seal over the caliper piston. Then you can compress the caliper piston to the bottom of the caliper bore, fully seat the piston dust boot seal into the caliper counterbore and install the retaining ring that secures the dust boot to the caliper housing, the bleeder valve and cap to the caliper and the rear brake caliper to the vehicle.
