Q: How do you install the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)?
A:
You need to install the PCM to the connectors, the PCM, and the harness into the air cleaner housing and the air cleaner housing cover assembly and connect the negative battery cable. The new PCM must be programmed.

Q: How do you remove the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)?
A:
You need to use a scan tool to retrieve the percentage of remaining engine oil, record the remaining engine oil life, disconnect the negative battery cable, and remove the air cleaner housing cover assembly. Without disconnecting the PCM connectors, you can remove the PCM and the harness from the air cleaner housing, disconnect the PCM connectors and remove the PCM from the connectors.
