Q: How do you install the Defroster Actuator?
A:
You need to install the defroster actuator to the defroster door arm and snap it into place on the HVAC module, connect the vacuum line to the actuator, remove the hand vacuum pump and reinstall the vacuum line to the recirculation actuator and install the relay bracket screws, the I/P compartment and the right instrument insulator panel.

Q: How do you install the Air Temperature Actuator-Right?
A:
You need to position the right air temperature actuator, then align the slots in the electric actuator driver to the flats on the shaft, align the locating hole to the alignment on the HVAC module case, and slide the actuator driver onto the shaft. The actuator driver should seat completely on the shaft and the mounting holes should be flush with the mounting bolts on the HVAC module case and install the screws to the right air temperature actuator.

A:
You need to remove the left instrument panel insulator and the instrument panel knee bolster bracket, disconnect the vacuum line from the mode actuator, lift the lock tab to remove the actuator, remove the mode actuator off the slides of the HVAC module assembly and disconnect the actuator pushrod from the mode door lever and remove the actuator.

You need to remove the instrument panel compartment and the right instrument panel insulator, disconnect the vacuum line from the recirculation actuator, lift the retaining tab to release the recirculation actuator and slide the actuator off of the mounting bracket, disconnect the vacuum actuator plunger rod from the recirculation lever and remove the recirculation actuator.
