2005 Buick Century Liftgate Lift Support

You need to open and support the rear compartment lid, use a small flat-bladed tool to lift the locking clip on the strut upper ball stud, press out the upper ball stud, use a small flat-bladed tool to lift the locking clip on the strut lower ball stud, press out the lower ball stud, and remove the rear compartment lid strut from the hinge.

You need to position the rear compartment lid strut to the hinge, press in the lower ball stud and the upper ball stud, close both locking clips, remove the rear compartment lid support and close the rear compartment.
