Q: How do you install the Oil Level Indicator and Tube?
A:
You need to clean the oil level indicator tube, apply sealant around the oil level indicator tube 12.7 mm (0.50 inch) below the bead by using GM sealant P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or the equivalent, install the oil level indicator tube into the engine block, the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt and the oil level indicator and then connect the spark plug wire to the number 6 cylinder spark plug.

A:
You need to position the oil drain pan under the engine oil drain plug, remove the engine oil drain plug, clean and inspect the engine oil drain plug, repair or replace it if necessary, clean and inspect the engine oil drain plug sealing surface on the oil pan, repair or replace oil pan if necessary, remove the Oil Filter and clean and inspect the oil filter sealing area on the engine block, repair or replace if necessary.
Q: How do you install the Oil Pump?
A:
You need to install the Oil Pump to the valve body and the oil pump bolts, connect the electrical connectors to the solenoid valves, the TFP manual valve position switch, and the temperature sensor and install the case side cover.
