Q: How do I install the stop lamp switch?
A:
You should install the stop lamp switch into the retainer, press the switch into the retainer until the switch plunger is fully depressed into the switch barrel, rotate the switch clockwise until travel has stopped and the switch locks fully into position, connect the stop lamp/ABS/shift lock switch electrical connector to the stop lamp switch, adjust the stop lamp switch and install sound insulator.

Q: What should we know about the stop lamp switch adjustment?
A:
The stop lamp switches are self-adjusting when they are installed properly in the fully locked position. The twist lock type switches do not need any further adjustment.

Q: How do I remove the stop lamp switch?
A:
You should remove the left sound insulator, rotate the stop lamp/ABS/shift lock switch counterclockwise, then pull to remove the switch and disconnect the electrical connector from the switch.
