Q: What should be noticed in removing the Catalytic Converter (L36)?
A:
You should remove the bolts securing the center exhaust hangers to the rear suspension support brackets, remove the catalytic converter from the manifold pipe, lower the exhaust system, and remove the catalytic converter gasket.

01/11/2022Q: What should be cautioned in installing the Catalytic Converter (L36)?
A:
You should use care not to over-extend the heated oxygen sensor pigtail, slide 2 service clamps over the catalytic converter outlet pipe and you can not tighten at this time, slide the catalytic converter outlet pipe over the resonator inlet pipe, until fully seated against the heated oxygen sensor boss and you should ensure the solid portion of the catalytic converter heat shield is upward.
