You should turn OFF the ignition, disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the intake duct, remove the 2 screws from the upper and lower air cleaner assembly sections and remove the upper air cleaner housing assembly and disconnect the PCM connectors.

Q: How do I install the powertrain control module (PCM)?
A:
You should reconnect the PCM connectors, reinstall the PCM and harness into the PCM housing, install the upper air cleaner housing assembly, install the 2 screws into the upper and lower air cleaner assembly sections, install the intake duct, and reconnect the negative battery cable.

Q: How do I install the ignition coil?
A:
You should position the coils to the ICM, taking care not to bend the electrical terminals, install the Ignition Coil attaching screw and connect the spark plug wires to the coils assemblies in the original positions.
Q: How do I remove the ignition control module (ICM)?
A:
You should turn the ignition OFF, disconnect the 14-way connector from the Ignition Control Module (ICM), disconnect the spark plug wires from the coil assemblies, remove the screws that secure the coil assemblies to the ICM, and remove the coils and the ICM from the bracket.
Q: How to remove the Knock Sensor (KS) 1?
A:
You should turn OFF the ignition, drain the cooling system, raise the vehicle, disconnect the electrical connector from the Knock Sensor and remove the knock sensor from the engine block.
