Q: How to install the Accelerator Controls Cable?
A:
You should install the accelerator control cable through the bulkhead, install the snap retainer through the bulkhead, install the accelerator control cable through the slot in the accelerator pedal lever, assemble the dash panel insulator retainer to the accelerator control cable, push (from the passenger compartment) the retainer over cable lever end fitting and up cable until the retainer snaps onto the flange of cable dash fitting, check for complete throttle opening and closing positions by operating the accelerator pedal, install the accelerator control cable to the throttle body lever, install the accelerator control cable to the accelerator cable bracket, install the accelerator control cable to the right slot on top of washer bottle, install the accelerator control cable to the retaining clip and install the left closeout/insulator panel.

Q: How to remove the Accelerator Controls Cable Bracket?
A:
You should remove the fuel injector sight shield, disconnect the cruise control cable from the throttle lever, disconnect the cruise control cable from the bracket, disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever, disconnect the accelerator cable from the bracket, remove the wiring harness clip from a bracket if necessary (VIN K only) and remove the two bolts from the bracket.

Q: How to clean the Throttle Body?
A:
You should remove the air cleaner intake duct, remove the air inlet screen, if applicable, inspect the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate for deposits and clean the throttle body bore and the throttle valve plate using a clean shop towel. If the deposits are excessive, you should remove and disassemble the throttle body for cleaning. After disassembly, you should clean the throttle body using a parts-cleaning brush. If you removed and disassembled the throttle body for cleaning, you should assemble and install the throttle body. Then you should install the air inlet screen and install the air cleaner intake duct.
