2005 Buick LeSabre Trunk Lid Latch

You should install the rear compartment latch striker, install the nuts retaining the latch striker, adjust the rear compartment latch striker as necessary, install the rear facia and install the rear compartment sill plate.

You should install the lid latch assembly, install the fasteners securing the lid latch assembly, install the latch cable to the lock cylinder, install the fastener securing the rear compartment lid interior release handle to the rear compartment lid and connect the electrical connectors to the lid latch assembly.

You should disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear compartment lid latch assembly, remove the latch cable from the lock cylinder, remove the fastener securing the rear compartment lid interior release handle to the rear compartment lid, remove the fasteners securing the rear compartment lid latch assembly to the rear compartment lid and remove the lid latch assembly.

You should remove the rear compartment sill plate, remove the rear facia, remove the nuts retaining latch striker from outside the rear compartment and remove the rear compartment latch striker.
