First, you need to install the connectors to the PCM and install the PCM into the air cleaner housing assembly. Then, please install the air cleaner top cover and connect the negative battery cable. Finally, you must program the new PCM.

01/11/2022Q: How to remove the Powertrain Control Module (PCM)?
A:
First, you need to retrieve the percentage of remaining engine oil and disconnect the negative battery cable. Then, please remove the screws from the air cleaner top cover and remove the air cleaner top cover. Finally, you should disconnect the harness connectors from the PCM and remove the PCM from the air cleaner housing assembly.
