Q: How to remove the Engine Front Cover?
A:
First, you need to remove the right engine mount bracket, the drive belt tensioner assembly, the crankshaft balancer, the crankshaft sensor, the oil pan to engine front cover bolts, the engine front cover attaching bolts, and the engine front cover. Then, please inspect the timing chain for overall in and out movement, inspect the timing sprockets for wear, and clean the gasket mating surfaces at the cylinder block. If the oil pan gasket is excessively swollen, the oil pan must be removed and the gasket replaced. Finally, you should clean and inspect the engine front cover.
