2005 Buick Park Avenue Transmission Mount

First, you need to install the mount and the mount bracket onto the vehicle and position it in place, apply thread lock compound GM P/N 12345493 or equivalent, to the rear transmission bracket bolts. Then, please install the retaining bolts to the mount bracket, install the transmission mount lower bolts and nut, the transmission mount upper nuts onto the mount, and remove the transaxle support stand. Finally, you should install the power steering return hose and the power steering pressure hose onto the rack and pinion, install the power steering gear heat shield, and lower the vehicle.

First, you need to apply thread lock compound GM P/N 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488) or equivalent to the 4 bolts that secure the left transaxle mount bracket to the case side cover. Then, please install the left transaxle mount bracket to the case side cover, the left transaxle mount. Finally, you should install the left front fascia extension, and the left front tire and wheel, and lower the vehicle.

First, you need to remove the nut from the top of the transaxle mount and raise and support the vehicle. Then, please remove the three bolts securing the front transaxle mount bracket to the transaxle, and lower the vehicle. Finally, you should remove the front transaxle mount bracket from the vehicle.

The recommended torque is 4 N.m (35 lb in).

The recommended torque is 110 N.m (81 lb-ft).
