FAQ for Wheel Bearing Repair

Q: How to remove the Wheel Bearing/Hub-Front?
A:
First, you need to raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel, and clean the drive axle threads of all dirt. Then, please remove the drive axle nut and the brake rotor, disconnect the Antilock Brake System (ABS) front wheel speed sensor connector, remove the wheel bearing/hub from the steering knuckle, and remove the dust shield. Finally, you should separate the hub and bearing from the drive axle, and clean the rust and foreign material from the knuckle mounting face, the bore, and the chamber.
