You should remove the trim panel from the endgate and the screws retaining the rear body control module (BCM) to the endgate, disconnect the electrical connectors from the rear BCM, and remove the module from the vehicle.

Q: How to remove the Body Control Module (BCM)?
A:
You should disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the left second-row seat or position the left-hand second seat to a cargo position, then remove the rear electrical center cover, press down and hold the locking tab, disengage the sliding latch retaining the BCM to the rear electrical center, slide the latch inboard until fully extended, approximately 40 mm (1.6 in), disconnect the 40-way body wiring extension, the 32-way tan electrical connector and the 24-way gray electrical connector from the BCM and remove the BCM from the rear electrical center.

After the procedure is completed, the personalization settings of the BCM are set to a default setting and you should inform the customer that the personalization must be set again, then perform the special function for BCM °request BCM info. for service programming system ° or select service programming systems.
