You should apply the engine oil to the outside diameter of the crankshaft front oil seal, use the J 44218 to install the front oil seal, remove the J 44218 and install the crank balancer shaft.

Q: How to remove the Crankshaft Front Oil Seal?
A:
You should remove the crankshaft balancer, make sure not to damage the engine front cover or the crankshaft, pry out the crankshaft front oil seal using a suitable tool and use the provided slots for prying out the seal.
