Q: How to remove the Exhaust System Insulator, Hanger, and Bracket (Converter to Transmission)?
A:
You should raise the vehicle, disconnect the heated oxygen sensor (H2OS) electrical connector, remove the nuts that secure the catalytic converter pipe to the exhaust manifold, discard the old exhaust seal and remove the nuts that secure the catalytic converter pipe to the muffler, the bolt securing the exhaust hanger to the transmission mount, the transmission mount, the catalytic converter and exhaust hanger assembly from the vehicle and the exhaust hanger from the catalytic converter.
