You should open the front door, remove the push-pin retainers from the front Door Sealing auxiliary weatherstrip located at the base of the pillar, pull back the front door sealing weatherstrip to expose the windshield side reveal molding screws, and remove the screws from the windshield side reveal molding and the reveal molding from the windshield pillar.

You should release the primary Hood Latch to inspect the operation of the pop-up spring and attempt to raise the hood while the hood is in the pop-up position. The hood should raise without the hood striker binding against the latch and the secondary latch should engage to prevent the hood from being raised.

You should install a new Washer Pump sealing grommet and the pump to the sealing grommet, push downward to seat the pump, install the pump to the retainer on the solvent container, push the pump into the tank to secure the pump, connect the washer hose to the pump and install the washer solvent container.
