You should place the park brake lever in the full release position, raise and suitably support the vehicle, pull the Parking Brake Cable equalizer toward the rear of the vehicle, place a locking plier with protected jaws on the cable to hold the cable in an extended position, lower the vehicle, rotate the self-adjust clip into the lock position with a flat-bladed tool, raise the vehicle, remove the locking plier from the park brake cable, lower the vehicle, partially raise the park brake lever, stopping before the self-adjust clip activating on the mount bracket tab, insert a flat-bladed tool behind the self-adjust clip and twist the tool 90 degrees to raise the self-adjust clip over the mount bracket tab and raise the handle until it is fully applied and remove the screwdriver.

You should raise and support the vehicle, install the drain pan under the vehicle, remove the Power Steering Hose assembly to the power steering gear retaining bolt, disconnect the power steering hose assembly, the power steering return hose and power steering cooler hose, lower the vehicle, remove the power steering hose assembly to front crossmember bracket mounting bolt, disconnect the power steering pressure hose, power steering cooler hose and the fuse block wiring harnesses, remove the fuse block, the battery tray, the power steering hose assembly bracket retaining bolt, the power steering hose assembly bracket, the power steering hose assembly to frame brackets retaining bolts, the power steering hose assembly from the vehicle, raise and support the vehicle, install the seal extraction end of the J44586 and extract the power steering gear oil seal.

You should remove the tire and wheel center cap and the drive axle nut, raise and support the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel, the wheel hub and bearing, and the outer tie rod retaining nut, and disconnect the outer tie rod from the Steering Knuckle using J24319-B, remove the brake hose bracket retaining bolts, the brake hose bracket from the steering knuckle and the upper control arm to the steering knuckle pinch bolt and nut, disconnect the upper control arm from the steering knuckle and remove the lower ball joint retaining nut, the steering knuckle from the lower control arm using J43631 and the steering knuckle from the vehicle.
