Q: What is the removal procedure for the rear axle?
A:
The procedure is to raise the vehicle, remove the rear tire and wheel assemblies, remove the brake pipe retainer bolts and the brake pipe, disconnect the wheel speed sensor harness, remove the wheel speed sensor wiring harness, disconnect the park brake cables, remove the park brake cables from the rear axle, support the rear axle with suitable jack stands, remove the shock absorber lower mounting bolt, remove the rear axle mounting bolts, the washers and the nuts from the rear axle and remove the rear axle.
