Q: What is the installation procedure for the battery negative cable?
A:
The procedure is to position the new cable in the vehicle, install the ground stud, position the engine wire harness retainer onto the ground stud, install the wire harness retainer and the bolt, tape the cables together at the battery tray and the transmission electrical plug, install air cleaner resonator and outlet duct and connect the negative battery cable.

Q: How do you replace the battery negative cable?
A:
You can disconnect the negative battery cable, remove the air intake duct and resonator, cut the tape holding the two cables together at the retainer on the battery tray and near the transmission electrical plug, remove the wire harness retainer nut, position the wire retainer aside, remove bolt retaining cable to the battery tray, remove the negative battery cable ground stud and remove the negative battery cable.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the battery-positive cable?
A:
The procedure is to remove the outlet duct and resonator, disconnect the negative battery cable and the positive battery cable at the battery, lift the fuse/relay center, remove the power lead bolt, cut the tape holding the 2 cables together at the retainer on the battery tray, cut the tape holding the 2 cables together near the transmission electrical plug, remove the positive battery cable to starter solenoid nut and remove the positive battery cable from the vehicle.

You can position the new cable in the vehicle, install the positive battery cable to the starter solenoid nut, tape the cables together at the transmission electrical connector, tape the cables together at the battery tray, install the power lead bolt and the positive battery cable end, connect the negative battery cable and install the outlet duct and resonator.
