2005 Chevrolet Cavalier Fender Splash Shield

The procedure is to raise the vehicle, remove the tires and wheels, remove the push-pin retainer, remove the screws from the left engine splash shield, disconnect the clips, remove the left splash shield, remove the push-in retainers holding the right engine splash shield to the lower flange of the engine compartment side rail, remove the right fender liner, remove the screws from the right engine splash shield, disconnect the clips to the electrical harness and remove the right engine splash shield.

You can position the right engine splash shield to the lower flange of the engine compartment side rail, align the holes in the engine splash shield to the holes in the outboard side engine compartment side rail, install the push-in retainers, connect the clips to the electrical connector, install the screws to the right engine splash shield, install the push-in retainers to the left engine splash shield, connect the clips to the electrical harness, install the screws to the left engine splash shield, install the right fender liner, install the tires and wheels and lower the vehicle.

The procedure is to raise the vehicle, remove the tire and wheel assembly, remove the screws from the front fender liner at the front bumper fascia, remove the push-in retainers, remove the screws from the fender liner to the fender and remove the front fender liner.

You can position the fender liner to the front fender, install the push-in retainers, install the screws from the fender liner to the fender, install the screws to the front fender liner to the front bumper fascia, install the tire and wheel assembly and lower the vehicle.
