Q: What is the removal procedure for the rear compartment lid latch?
A:
The procedure is to mark the location of the latch on the compartment lid, remove the lock cable assembly, unclip the cable door at the top of the lock release box, remove the remote release cable, remove the latch cable assembly bolts and remove the latch assembly.

Q: What is the removal procedure for the rear compartment lid lock striker?
A:
The procedure is to remove the rear compartment sill plate, pull back the rear compartment trim panel, mark the location of the lock striker, remove the lock striker nuts, remove the lock striker reinforcement plate and remove the lock striker from the rear compartment.
