FAQ for Fuel Line Repair

Q: What is the removal procedure for the fuel hose/pipes(chassis)?
A:
The procedure is to relieve the fuel system pressure, disconnect the fuel feed line quick connect fitting, cap or plug the fuel line and the fuel rail to prevent contamination, remove the fuel feed line retainers, remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister, disconnect the fuel feed line, remove the rear brake pipe bracket nuts and release the brackets, release the pipe retainers, remove the fuel feed pipe, lower the rear of the pipe while moving the pipe rearward, then lower the front of the pipe, and remove the fuel feed pipe.
