Q: How to handle it when the intermediate shaft was removed without the use of a scribed mark?
A:
You need to place the road wheels in the straight-ahead position. install the intermediate shaft to the steering gear so the intermediate shaft bolt head faces the LH wheel well opening. place the steering wheel in the straight-ahead position. connect the intermediate shaft to the steering column shaft.
