The procedure is to disconnect the electrical connector from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor, remove the 2 screws securing the MAF/IAT sensor to the air cleaner assembly, and then remove the MAF/IAT sensor from the air cleaner assembly.

A:
The proper way is to insert the MAF/IAT sensor into the air cleaner assembly, install the 2 screws securing the MAF/IAT sensor to the air cleaner assembly, and then connect the electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
