Q: What is the removal procedure for the rack and pinion outer tie rod end?
A:
The procedure is to remove the tire and wheel, remove the outer tie rod retaining nut, disconnect the outer tie rod from the steering knuckle using J24319-B, loosen the jam nut and remove the outer tie rod from the inner tie rod, and then clean the tapered surface of the steering knuckle.

Q: What is the proper way to install the rack and pinion outer tie rod end?
A:
The proper way is to install the new jam nut to the outer tie rod, install the outer tie rod to the inner tie rod, install the outer tie rod to the steering knuckle, install the outer tie rod retaining nut, and then install the tire and wheel.
