28/10/2022Q: How to remove the thermal expansion valve?
A:
You need to recover the refrigerant from the air conditioning (A/C) system, remove the rear evaporator line assembly, remove the thermal expansion valve (TXV) to evaporator core mounting bolts, disconnect the TXV from the evaporator and remove, remove and discard the evaporator core seal washers, and cap or tape off the evaporator core.
