While the learning procedure is in progress, release the throttle immediately when the engine starts to decelerate. The engine control is returned to the operator and the engine responds to the throttle position after the learning procedure is complete.

You need to remove the starter, disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor electrical connector, and remove the CKP sensor retaining bolt and the CKP sensor.

The procedure is to install the O-ring on the camshaft sensor assembly, install the Camshaft Position Sensor assembly in the front cover, install the camshaft position sensor mounting bolts, reconnect the camshaft position sensor assembly and the engine harness connector, and install the generator assembly.
