Q: How to adjust the shift control cable?
A:
You can apply the parking brake, pull back the white plastic cover, pull up on the center tabs of the lock button, pull the white cover on the shift cable end back, push the natural colored lock button down to engage the locking teeth, release the white cover and verify the white cover conceals the natural colored lock.

A:
You can remove the battery tray, disconnect the shift control cable from the transaxle range switch lever, depress the shift control cable retainer clip tabs, remove the cable from the shift control cable bracket, remove the shift control cable bracket bolts, and the shift control cable bracket.
