You can insert the EVAP canister vent solenoid valve into the EVAP canister, rotate the vent valve clockwise, and install the EVAP canister into the vehicle.

02/11/2022Q: How to correct the clicking/banging noise from under the vehicle?
A:
You can explain to the customer that the sound they are hearing is a normal function of the vehicle's evaporative emission system and that no repairs are needed. If the customer still feels the condition is not acceptable the canister vent solenoid valve can be replaced with P/N 15788844. This is a quieter operating valve.
