You can disable the SIR system, slide the shift lever seal up the shift lever, remove the steering column trim covers, disconnect the shift lever connector, remove the shift lever screw, remove the shift lever and seal and remove the shift lever seal.

Q: What is the proper way to install the shift lever?
A:
You can install the shift lever seal, the shift lever assembly, and the shift lever screw, slide the shift lever seal down the shift lever assembly, align the shift lever seal into the steering column trim covers, install the steering column trim covers and enable the SIR system.

You should remove the air cleaner housing.
Q: What is the proper way to install the oil filter and seal?
A:
You can install a new seal, install the filter and install the gasket and the oil pan.
Q: How do you replace the transmission fluid cooler hose/pipe?
A:
You can disconnect the transaxle oil cooler (TOC) outlet hose from the top side of the radiator, raise the vehicle, remove the TOC hose retainer bolt, position a drain pan below the oil cooler hoses, disconnect the TOC outlet hose from the transaxle, disconnect the TOC inlet hose from the transaxle and the radiator, disconnect the TOC hoses from the radiator support retainer and remove the TOC hoses.
